Fragmented legal resources lengthen research time due to the need to filter through many unrelated or irrelevant material. In addition, the online platforms do not have a comprehensive library of much older cases that are still applicable. Also, the idea that only reported cases get the spotlight, while unreported cases that might be more relevant to the current research take the back seat.

We conducted a survey from 15 October 2025 – 10 February 2026 with respondents comprising of legal practitioners, lawyers, academicians, ZIALE candidates, and lay members of the public. The following are the sampled responses on their current frustration with accessing legal resources.
